Who we are
Jacob Frederiech Staiber first appears in the 1810 Census. Jacob and his family settled along the Conquesoning River in Butler Pennsylvania. The Staiber Family immigrated from Swabia of Bavaria.
Swabians have their own dialect, language, and culture. Like many Bavarians they are conservatives who were members of the Catholic Faith.
